Re: Want to put car in wifes name.

It would be very difficult to provide an accurate answer to this question without additional information. In general if someone owns a vehicle and wants to sell it or give it to someone else then it really isn’t anybody else’s business. However the thing that may cause difficulty is when it is already, or may become, of interest to someone else. A couple of examples could be; if someone gives away their assets and then goes bankrupt then it could be decided that it was a deliberate act to avoid the assets being sold as part of the bankruptcy, or goods taken into control by enforcement activity. If you contact a free debt adviser and discuss in greater detail they may be able to provide further information.
