Alliance & Leicester have 'written' off my account but no conntact?

I've been in an IVA for the past 3 years, have been very lucky with my creditors in them accepting my offers of payments.
However, I recently rang Alliance & Leicester about my loan, I wanted to know the remainder balance to evaluate how long I had to go. They informed me that my account had been 'written off' and passed to a Debt Collection agency and they couldn't provide me with any details.
I was told to wait for the debt management to contact me, this has now been 7 weeks and I still haven't heard anything?
Also, my last payment got sent back to my IVA company?

What do I do, I estimate that I owe £980 but I'm concerned on how I can pay this and Alliance & Leicester, or shall we say "Santander" aren't being helpful at all?

Re: Alliance & Leicester have 'written' off my account but ...

If you are in an IVA you need to address your concerns to your supervisor - the IP and their staff.

The arrangement will usually run for 5 years and then end.

It doesn't matter if the debt has been passed on to a debt collection company - all creditors are bound by the arrangement - as per the original proposal.

My worry would be if you had entered into a debt management plan rather than an IVA.

DMPS do not run for a fixed term.
