My husband is about to go bankrup. Could the take my car which is only in my name. The car has about £10,500 finance on it but is only orth about £5,500.
Your husband's bankruptcy shouldn't affect you unless it can be proven he owns the car, or signed the car over to you or in some other way is trying to hide an asset from his creditors.
If you are not in debt difficulty (and the debts aren't in joint names) you should be ok.
