This is a whole can of worms.

On your bankruptcy forms you should list all sums due to you under a will.

If a person dies while you are bankrupt, leaving you some money this can been as a windfall even if you do not recieve the money until after the end of the bankruptcy.

You should make sure you get advice from a probate solicitor if you are possibly due an inheritance and you are "insolvent" and considering bankruptcy.
